UMLAC and the University of Medical Sciences of Havana Sign a Cooperation Framework Agreement

Havana, Cuba - August 28, 2023. Maharishi University of Latin America and the Caribbean (UMLAC) formalized a strategic partnership with the University of Medical Sciences of Havana (UCMH), Cuba, through the signing of a Cooperation Framework Agreement.

The agreement establishes the general basis for scientific, academic, and teaching exchange between the two institutions. Its principal objective is to combine available efforts and contribute jointly to the training of high-level human resources in the health sector, while advancing scientific and technical research in areas of shared interest.

The agreement includes core activities such as the exchange of academic personnel and scientific information, the organization of teaching and cultural events, and the co-design of academic programs with joint accreditation.

With this step, under the leadership of Rector Dr. Jose Luis Alvarez and Rector Prof. Dr. Mairim de la Caridad Lago Queija, UMLAC expands its collaboration network in the Caribbean, integrating Consciousness-Based Education with the trajectory of contemporary clinical medicine.
